Connecting people to their voices and to each other

Giving Voice Project, LLC, began as an expansion of Polly Baldridge’s work as a private voice teacher and coach, choral director, and sacred musician. It is a response to the perceived need for people to have safe and welcoming spaces to explore and express themselves, receive affirmation and support for pursuing their artistic goals, and connect with others across age, culture, belief, and life experience. Singing is not the only way, but it is a powerful way to connect people and build community.

Our mission

To serve the local and extended community with individual and collective voice education and musical collaborations that honor diversity, foster creative self-expression, invite meaningful human connection, promote collaboration, and inspire and equip artistic leadership

New initiatives and collaborations within our local and extended community are planned, including:

• ensemble singing and music experiences that span age and culture

• collective learning opportunities

• private and small group voice instruction spanning style, genre, age, and experience level

• artistic career coaching and mentoring

• continuing education for vocational singers, music educators, sacred musicians

• music curriculum and educational resources

• music and historical research

• community engagement events

• support and collaboration within local and extended artistic community
